Scale Models

Architectural Model

From simple, mass study models to completely detailed models with lighting, removable sections, and mechanical parts (all plastic construction): project requirements, budget, detail required, and intended use, all interact to produce a wide range of possibilities in determining the type and cost of an architectural model.

Engineering Model

Precision construction in plastic and metal, can be lighted, mechanized. An invaluable aide in visualizing complex projects, such as: Dams, Tunnels, Equipment layouts and Piping diagrams.

Topographic Model

Precision cut from high density foam, these can be finished to any degree of detail required, with numerous applications such as: Highway engineering studies, Environmental impact studies, Site study model, Development master plans, Oceanographic studies, Erosion and flood control, National Parks, Urban planning, Dams and reservoirs, Zoning presentations, Golf courses, Legal presentations and Ski area complexes.

Model Specifications and Limitations

108" x 60" in a single piece. Larger models in sections.

Produced from rigid, urethane foam

Available with open step contours or smoothed

Vertical scale exaggeration, if required

Fiberglass copies

Conventional Decoration

We prefer an overlay to the contour map, showing items of decoration to define roads, parking lots, trails, lakes, and all desired details. If buildings are required, give plan views, elevations, photographs, and sketches, adequate for scaling.
